White Out
It's a cracker of a day out there now! Blue sky, light wind and warm sunshine. There was nothing to see for the first hour of light this morning; the fog had vis down to just beyond the water's edge. Even the judges at the Sydney Surf Pro had to the put the contest on hold for an hour while the sun rose through the fog and caused a whiteout.
Despite the low visibility it was pretty obvious there's some fun waves about. Yesterday's wind has blown up a good size nor'east wind swell. It's a little raw and chunky on the high tide but if the offshore wind keeps up there'll be some clean fun waves about. I'd check back in at mid-tide, mid morning. The wind's going to swing southerly this afternoon, that'll play too!
