Summer's here for real this morning. The sun's got some serious bite to it, the water's oh-so pleasant and we've got a summery little nor'east swell ruffled by a light overnight northerly. Add to that a chance thunderstorm this afternoon or evening and we've got ourselves a typical Sydney summer's day. Oh, and did I mention bluebottles? Yep, they're around too? - I coped a good one yesterday; still scratching it.
The waves look pretty fun this morning. It's come off a bit since the weekend's sizey stuff and the northerly is making it a little crumbly but there's punchy little sections to be found. Find yourself a little protection behind a headland and you're on.
