Good morning...
Morning and a very happy Friday to you. Apologies for the radio silence since Monday. We snuck out of town for a quick celebratory three days up the coast camping, surfing and generally 'gettin away' before the crazy crowds of summer converge on the small coastal towns of East Coast Australia. It was a brief encounter with nature and a pleasant reminder of the beauty and diversity that the stretch of coast north of Sydney has to offer.
Back in Manly town this morning and the weather has changed. The cool southerly is adding a ruffle to the sea surface while whipping up some solid swell from the south; it's building to two and a half meters tomorrow. The waves were pretty average everywhere I looked this morning however we did have about 10 minutes of superb light when the sun popped out mid shower right on 6 o'clock. Rain, clouds and direct sunlight always make for interesting light.
This weekend is your last chance to order a framed print if you want to put it under the Christmas tree or hang it over the dining table when the family pop's over for Christmas lunch. Browse the online galleries or send me an email with questions or selections from the Daily Posts. We'll get started on it straight away!
Should be swell over the weekend - have yourself a good one!
