Bumpy

Quick Fire Five

After an absolute cracker of a day yesterday we're back down to earth again this morning. Clouds are overhead, the wind has an onshore angle to it and there was the odd shower or two scattered about before dawn. It was enough to roll over and hit snooze a couple of times before swapping the Sandman for sand.

I headed out down south on a very average little bank that was doing its best to line up on the low-tide. Maybe one in every 10 actually ran; everything else was straight as. The swell's up a touch on yesterday but it's got a funky little onshore bump to it. Was worth a brief swim/paddle but I get the feeling it'll be better later... maybe.
