Sun Day
Sometimes all the elements align for the perfect day; sunshine, light wind, a glassy little east swell. And sometimes, if we're lucky, they fall on a Sunday when time moves the slowest and to-do lists are mostly recreational and easily edited. The Sunday just past was one such convergence of elements and the place to be was over by Cabbage Tree.
The perfect day for lounging on sun-heated rocks, swimming in still water and, if you were up for a paddle across deep, clear water, there was just enough swell to send a little runner through the inside boulders of Fairy Bower every now and then. Where else would you rather be?
Back to today and the southerly up, it's clouded over and there's showers about. Makes Sunday an even more distant memory.
The good news is there's a little south swell on the rise... might see you tomorrow.
