I timed my run back to Sydney just in time for an easing in the onshore wind. Unfortunately it's also come with a significant drop in swell. Yesterday afternoon's solid 4 footers have dialled back to an easy shoulder-high. It was super glassy in the silvery light first thing this morning and conditions should remain reasonable clean with light winds and clouds most of the day.
Hopefully the east swell is going to hang around for the next few days of light winds and showers and serve up some fun-size glassy waves. Something real nice about surfing on a glassy ocean as the rain falls.
