Heatwave
5:28am - Dawn Flight
If you want to avoid the spring heatwave you'll have to be up and in to it early today. It was a rather pleasant 17˚ at 5:30am; easy comfort in t-shirt and shirts. But with the sun beaming and a dry wind from the nor'west, the thermometer is on a steep trajectory. It's 23 now and forecast to hit 34˚ around the middle of the day. That's warm, especially for September!
Yesterday's sea breeze has blown up a chunky little NE wind swell. It's classic summer short-period stuff with random bumps, clean faces and good ones scattered about the place. Hang in the same spot long enough and you're bound to jag something from the crowd eventually.
Stay cool,
