Sweet Spot?

Freshie on a Friday can get interesting. With Queensie to North Steyne out of action, there was a full flotilla of longboards and min-lengths, swimmers and swim clubs as well as the usual Freshwater folk mingling in a somewhat random affair on a compact stretch of sand. I was ducking and dodging straight-handers across a couple of banks and gutters at dawn and just couldn't quite find the sweet spot to line 'em up. Decided that coffee & a dog walk was a more productive option.

Conditions in the water right now are sublime. It's warm and clear; the perfect tonic for a muggy restless night. Little wonder everyone's headed for the ocean first thing in the morning at the moment.
