G'day! Morning!  
I just snuck back into the City of Angels, it's a slightly difference scene outside to yesterday's jungle sunrise down on the Southern Mexican Coast. Yesterday the whole sky lit up for my last sunrise session down at the point. The waves were down a touch so it wasn't too hard a decision to simply climb a boulder and watched the whole sunrise unfold as the mezcal clouds cleared in my head. Kind of baffling to think that the sun's rising over the Pacific down here right?

This trip was not so much about making pictures, it was more of a personal trip to surf and travel and examine where and what surfing is for me as I kick off my 40th year on the planet. The waves have been fun despite the lure of a 'real' swell coming mañana - all the more reason for trip back here some time! Big thanks to Ash Browne and Chucho for the set up and to all the travellers that gave me a brief peak into their 'travellers' life. (Almost every other traveller I met had at least 6 months left of their trip).

I see the Sydney weather went a little nuts last night. Well, here's a special Saturday Edition of Sprout Daily to inspire you while the weather clears.
