The Internet
The internet here in Southern Mexico is a place; you visit it once a week to check your messages, sweat a little, drink a cold coconut smoothie and maybe, if you're lucky, you'll glimpse a little ways in to a glorious future via the Magic Seaweed forecast. I've taken a taxi into the nearest biggish town to get enough bandwidth to get the photos up the pipeline. My taxi driver is eating a fish taco across the road, keen to get back to the village to catch the last innings of the local baseball team play the neighbouring village. So, I'll be brief.
I'm way down South in Mexico. The waves have been small but oh so fun! These are the kind of waves made for the kind of boards I love riding; twin fins of various refinement. I have two with me on this trip, a Corey Graham Twin Chanel Twin and a Morning Of The Earth Fiji model by Simon Jones. Both are going unreal - extra width, free friction through the centre and rails that dig. Now, I just need a little more swell to get them really firing! Fingers crossed!
My next trip to the internet will be Thursday - hopefully get a fresh post up around then.
