Smooth Steel

It's gray, cold and still down on the water this morning and there's a beautiful 4ft SE swell peaking up and down the South Steyne to Queenscliff stretch.  The sand seems to be in pretty good shape and suprisingly quite a few banks are holding this swell direction really well.  Plenty of closeouts but some really nices tubing ones in between as well.   The swell is fading slowly over the next couple of days however the wind is forecast to set in from the East this afternoon and throughout tomorrow. Crowds aren't too bad for the School Hol's so take advantage of this morning's offshore and get amongst it.
