Long Weekend Extension

The long weekend road trip has been extended by a day; couldn't help it. It's been raining all weekend up North and we feel like we've been robbed the chance to celebrate Labour Day and Manly's NRL Premiership properly. I'm sure Manly Mayor Jean Hay and the Member for Manly Mike Baird wouldn't mind doing a Bob Hawke and declaring a public holiday for the citizens of Sydney's favourite peninsular. Congratulations to Desie and the boys!! After deciding on an extra day for the long weekend last night we woke up this morning camped on our favourite Mid-North Coast point break to peeling sand bottom treats. The South swell's been threatening to swing a touch to the East all weekend and this morning there was just enough East in it to light up the point at Killick Creek. It's been the whole weekend coming enduring wind and rain so a deserved treat for perservence. Back in Manly tomorrow. See you bright and early.
