IWaves are scarce but the sunshine is abundant today. I went for a swim with a handful of hopefuls at Freshy this morning.  The waves are small and weak but the water is so inviting.  Results were mixed in the surfing stakes but I don't think anyone would have regretted getting in the water.

It's all happening over at Jeffrey's Bay in South Africa for Stop #6 on the world tour.  J-Bay is firing and the world's best surfers are seriously pushing the boundaries of speed. Do yourself a favourite and get up to speed on the Heat Analyzer before The Call this afternoon.

Kelly Slater folded his foot backwards on a closeout resulting in a ambulance trip and broken foot.  The King's having a rough time of it this year.
