Happy Monday to you! Hope your week kicked off with a little vision splendid of the sunrise that unloaded at dawn. It was a fine one indeed! I was afloat on the Tasman as the sky lit up with my favourite lens, a straight 85mm. The thing with 85mm in the water is your perspective narrows to about 5 percent of the sky but the details jump right out at you. No full sky, but the sea's surface was a mirror of detail.

The East swell is hanging in there although there's a little extra ruffle thanks to an overnight onshore. Plenty of energy and shape to it if you can forgive the bumps.

Not a bad looking week ahead. The winds forecast to be light so let's hope there's a few offshore moments in the mix.
