Buster
How about that southerly buster that rammed its way through the suburbs of Sydney late yesterday afternoon! We were sweating it up in 37 degrees at 5:30pm and then time I left the water close to 8pm my teeth were chattering uncontrollably with cold! (I know, I should have known better and worn a wetsuit!) Sydney lost 15 degrees of heat in 20 minutes and I reckon for most it was sweet relief!
Today we're headed for a top of 24, the nor'east wind swell has been blasted flat and in it's place is 2-3ft of south swell. It's a welcome change of scene after week on week of northerlies. I'm interested to see how the south swell's going to work with these summer sandbanks. Go surf, there's waves!
