Wasn't yesterday a scorcher! Maybe not by Summer standards but 26 degrees in the middle of Winter - huh! I had a wander down the beachfront yesterday evening and it was like Summer; people out and about swimming, doing the picnic thing well into the evening. Apparently 26 is an all-time record for July in Sydney. Been a few records broken recently... something's going on.

Yesterday's warm air was hanging over us this morning, seemed like the first time in a while it was warmer out of the ocean than in. We're heading back to winter temp's for the rest of the week; might even get a little rain and a bump of South swell. Now that's more like Winter!

This morning's sunrise flared up and burnt out just as quick. 3 minutes of bright pink and then back to grey. It was magic while it lasted but you've got to be quick for these ones!
