Weird little wind swell out on the water this morning. The waves were so tightly packed together that I found myself either ducking under one or a lump of water ahead of me blocking the view of the wave behind. It was only 1-2ft, but the frequency was relentless!

The good news is that amongst all the high-frequency energy there was the odd clean and crisp little peak. I saw a couple of good ones come through; almost as many as I missed.

This evening our friends at Cord & Roy are launching a rad little hat brand they've been refining over the last year or so. We had the chance to test a couple of surf hats last week and I have to say they really hit the mark for function and form; super functional and they look great too!
