Fairer Days

Fairer Days

You know when everyone's talking about the weather that something significant's unfolding. In Sydney, the forecast is for 50-100mm today with up to 200mm over the weekend; potentially a month's worth of rain in a couple of days. It's going to be wet. While you're reading this I'll be on the beach at Bondi soaking in the rain and shooting Wipeout Dementia an event where property industry bigwigs compete for glory with the likes of Owen Wright and Occy while raising funds for dementia research at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (UNSW). It's a great cause and so relevant in our society.

Today's post comes from fairer days of glassy conditions and that beautiful autumn light. All images come from the half hour before and after sunrise on Easter Monday, April Fools Day. It was a perfectly still morning where I finally connected the dots between the new water housing and camera and made some pictures I really like. Big thanks for Tully White for waking up early and helping me figure it all out. Hope you guys like them.

All this weather is going to whip up a solid East swell (double-overhead-plus) and there might be some moments of semi-friendly wind over the weekend... maybe.

Enjoy the wild; stay safe!
