Morning! Bit of a cloudy start to the week this morning but the Bureau's assures us we're in for a nice week of weather; warm with plenty of spring sunshine on the cards. We're going to be somewhat plagued by early low-tides for much of this week; low tides and small south swell make for a sandy concoction of shallow water and closeouts. Hopefully the swell angles around to the east a touch.
Huge congrat's to Declan Wyton for his runner-up finish at the WSL Longboard Comp down at Bells Beach! Declan's sitting at 4th on the world rankings heading into the last of the regular tour events in El Salvador later this month. Epic performance! In the women's, Tully showed grace and character battling a couple of wide bomb sets before being denied a buzzer beating score in her Round of 16 heat. It was a close call. Stoked to see two local surfers competing with the world's best. On to El Salvador...
