Smooth Oceans
After wondering whether we'd ever see offshore conditions again it happened yesterday afternoon for a time and there was a brief moment again this morning. Yep, warm nor'westers yesterday and a change this morning proceeded by some light sou'westers. It was nice to see a smooth groomed ocean, even if it was momentary. The southerly is up now and seems to have set in.
With that said, there's still some fun waves about and it's probably improved a bit with the incoming tide despite the stronger wind. The ENE swell is getting into the protected corners but it's not going to last for ever. May hay while the sun shines.
