50 Shades

After a sunrise that had 50 shades of pink, the clouds have cast a muted grey over The Beaches today. If you enjoy a little colour in your day, it pays to get up early and have a peek out the window on these overcast mornings. It's that combo of light and cloud that make for the most colourful sunrise's and this morning was a really nice one.

The south swell's hanging in there today and there's a light onshore adding a little texture to the ocean. There's plenty of energy out there but the big high tides in the morning aren't doing us any favours. I checked a few beaches north but it was mostly lumps and bumps with semi-clean faces. Maybe as the tide drops...
