Quiet
It's quiet out there this morning. Just the screech of cockatoo's high above and light rain on the roof. Outside my window the odd joggers shuffles through the park reminding me that I have to move my body sometime today. We've got to stay fit and healthy through all this. I've been eating like a king and baking my own sourdough so there's a chance I'll emerge 10kg's heftier!
How was your weekend? I confess, I snuck out for a paddle yesterday. The sunshine was too much for me, but conversations were minimal and mingling was zero.
Today we're launching a section on the page called Support Local. We're going to try and check in with local businesses and see how they're adapting and coping through this whole slowdown / shutdown / lockdown scenario. Our immediate future is going to be very screen orientated so hopefully this will provide some account of what's happening just beyond your walls and windows.
To everyone that's ordered a print over the last week, that's been wonderful, thank you! For now we're still using our local suppliers to produce prints. We can keep the wheel of commerce turning through our local community and hopefully, when life's back to normal, emerge with fresh innovation and a renew vigour to support local.
