No Sign

The Sunrise Dolphin

It's bright, warm and sunny out there this morning. No sign of rain as yet and my fingers are firmly crossed that any inclement weather will hold off until this evening. If the sky remains clear late afternoon today (and tomorrow) we're in for the first blue supermoon since 2009. Keep an eye on the horizon before sunset today and just after sunset tomorrow for potentially the best moonrise of the year. There's also some bioluminescence algae blooms about which might add some extra spice to the scene.

We've got a peaky little nor'east swell out on the ocean today. It's not big but it's got that short period punchiness to it making for fun conditions with the morning offshores.

Event #2 of the World Longboard Tour has kicked off down at Bells Beach this morning. Declan has already surfed in Round 1 and Tully's surfing late in the women's draw. Tune In and give the local crew some support.
