We're in for a rollercoaster of a week weather-wise. We're talking heat, wind and swell all punctuated with Fire Weather, Hazardous Surf and Marine Wind warnings. If you've got the BOM app on your phone it would have been pinging with warning notifications this morning. Today Sydney's heading for 33˚, tomorrow there's a chance of a thunderstorm and by Friday we'll back down to 21 as a top.

Prospects for surf this week is looking promising. At some stage today the wind should angle offshore ironing out the morning bump while out to sea astrong N/NE wind is going to whip up a solid dose of short-period swell for mid-week and beyond. Should be something...
