Steely grey out on the ocean this morning. Heavy dark clouds have surrounded us but as yet the rain that's fallen is mostly light and sparse, no sign of the potential storms as yet. The good news is the ocean is about as silky smooth as it's gets with only the lightest offshore wind gently feather 1-2ft of east swell. The waves look fun for all comers; as long as you don't mind long waits between sets and you've got a little extra volume under your feet.

This still but unsettled weather is set to remain for today and tomorrow until the sun's back with us Friday.
