Slow Down
It was a beautiful morning out on the beachfront. We had a colourful sunrise followed by some soft yellow light; the perfect colour palette for a mild winter's morning. It was 15 degrees at 6am and we're heading to a top of 23˚, 5 degrees above Sydney's July average.
The wind was up from the NNW this morning making for ruffled conditions along the North Steyne to Manly stretch. The swell's hanging in at shoulder-to-head-high and Queenscliff corner had a little protection from the north wind and the odd peak.
You've probably noticed the daily emails have been flowing a little more intermittently in recent weeks... I've been slacking. I've found Winter to be a time of rest and reset and over the last few years I've embraced that feeling and allowed myself to slow down, sleep in, take the pressure off producing, go surfing, listen and connect. That's part of the reason I've slowed down; the other reason is what I've been working on the past 6 months. All will be revealed once Spring rolls around; it's exciting! Stay tuned!
Fine weather and warm winter days ahead for the weekend and beyond. Find some time to rest and have a great weekend.
