Good Run!

Split Peak

How about this run of waves! It's been good; real good! And reasonably user friendly too with not much water moving and plenty of lulls for the paddle outs. I reckon you could paddle out a novice and find yourself standing in a wide open barrel with a bit of luck!

Yesterday afternoon was as good as I've seen Manly/North Steyne/Queenie in a long while. We're talking clean, offshore, 3-5ft and hollow peaks everywhere you looked (check out Saxon's tube sequence on Instagram).

This morning this swell's changed direction a touch and the lion's share of the energy is passing us by. It's still clean and offshore but if you want the full monty you'll have to head somewhere a little more exposed to the south swell. Still, there's plenty on offer on our little stretch of sand too.

Enjoy!
