Long Game

Saxon hunting

I woke with a with a solid dose of excitement and expectation today. All the numbers looked good on the forecast; hefty east swell, clean westerly winds and a healthy allocation in the schedule for surfing. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas with an overnight northerly adding a surface bump and wobble to the swell. It's still solid, but it's not looking nearly as silky as yesterday morning.

The good news is the wind's forecast to swing around to the west (it's already angling from that direction), the rain's stopped and the sun's emerging from the clouds. The surf should be on the improve throughout the day... best to play the long game with your surfing plans today.
