Early Birds

Rising from the dark

The weekend came good in the end and yesterday was about as good a day as you could ask for. Sunshine, a fun little ENE swell, offshore winds and cool vibes in town thanks to the Manly Jazz Festival lineup. It was BUSY and that's good for business but thankfully today's back to mellow.

If you're an early bird then this is your week to rise with the sun and make leisure with all that time in the morning. It's the last week before we flick the clocks forward and say sayonara to the pre-6am sunrise (until the end of October). It's a trade between a paddle before work and the arvo session. Next Monday's sunrise will be at 6:30... a sleep-in for some.

This morning was a good one for the early risers. A brief peek at the sun between horizon and clouds and a little bit of leftover east swell, no wind and not too many takers.

See you up early somewhere...
