Distractions
Morning!
Hope you had yourself a good weekend. If you made it down to the Fight For The Bight paddle out on Saturday, nice work! The turn out was huge and the spirit and unity was shinning bright amongst the surf community. If you want to stay in touch with news about what's going on down in the Bight, jump over to the Great Australian Bight Alliance.

The first leg of the Van Triple Crown, the Hawaiian Pro at Haleiwa, has been run and won by Frederico Morais from Portugal. It was a decent showing from the Aussie contingent. The Vans World Cup of Surfing waiting period starts at Sunset Beach today.
Everyones talking about the world's newest wavepool, Melbourne's URBNSURF. Plenty of pre-opening footage has been floating around your social feed. Did you know that Project #2 for URBNSURF is in Sydney? Check out Stab Mag's take on the pool here
