Light Show
One of the best things about these late sunrises (7:02am) is that just about everyone's up for it. This morning's sunrise was the best I've seen in a long while! We had a full sky of fluro pinks and oranges from north to south and overhead; every direction was textured and tinted in broad brushstrokes of light and colour. And you didn't even need to set your alarm to see it!
We had some really good waves about yesterday, it was a hard one to sit on the sidelines and watch. Feel's like there's still some swell about this morning although the high tide wasn't doing the waves any favours. Maybe it'll show itself full later on the way to low.
If you thought the water felt cold yesterday you're spot on! The MHL Waverider bouy is currently sitting at 19 degrees, that's a drop of about 5 degrees in the last couple of days - Brrrrr - no wonder it felt cold!
