Oh Sunshine!
Morning! How you doing? Oh I'm doing great thanks! The sun's out, the wind's offshore and if you're willing to run the risk of some dubious water quality there's waves to be had. After days of rain and howling onshore winds, the big bright ball is back against a sky of blue and the ocean is in the process of being groomed. We’re headed for 30 degrees in Sydney today - nice!
The flood risk for our friends to the north and west of here is still current, there's 9000sq kilometres of catchment for the Warragamba Dam and that water is still flowing - the ocean's going to be brown and full of debris on the east coast for a while I'm guessing. It's been a big rainfall event!
Wondering where's your Sprout Daily's been lately? I've been hiding out in recovery mode for the last couple of weeks after surgery to remove the Surfer's Ear bone growth in my left ear. Sleep's been tough so I've been resting up and sleeping in. Yesterday I had the packing removed and although I've still got some time out of the water, I can hear in stereo again and stepping out into the world is a much more pleasant thing. Feels good!
Enjoy the sunshine! Enjoy the waves! And take care of your ears! I'm back so I'll see you around....
