2021 - what a wild ride! And, at the centre of it all has been our home. Home is an abstract concept. It can be the four walls you retreat to, a place on a map, a feeling, a connection to a place, a community. Whether we've wanted to or not, we've been confined to or kept from our homes urging us to pay the concept more attention and examine what it means to us.

We've been fortunate to call Manly, Freshwater and The Northern Beaches our home in 2021 - what a beautiful place it it. If you're a surfer, it's been one of the best years of waves I can remember. Good year to be 'stuck' here really.

Thanks to everyone out there that's tuned in this year. Big thanks to those that have ordered an artwork or calendar, you've helped me to keep on doing this.

2022 is going to be a different year again, full of surprises no doubt. Whether you're staying home or travelling home for the holiday, take care.
