High Hopes

Took a swim in the dark this morning with high hopes of being in the spot for another vivid sunrise (I missed yesterday's 🤦). We had a spark of colour and a few wispy clouds that added a degree of light and texture to the sky but it didn't quite ignite like yesterday's inferno. Ahhh well, either way, it's still the best place to kick off the day.

The swell's a bit junky this morning broken up by some persistent overnight northerly winds. The waves are weak and just nudging shoulder-high on the sets but it's fun enough for the keen.

Catch you for the early again tomorrow.
