We're in for a run of warm summer days with clear blue skies. Between now and Sunday may well be the best beach days of the summer (for lounging, not for surfing). The water is warm and clear and with a light westerly ironing out the bumps, Sydney beaches are going to be in postcard form. Pick a beach, any beach; we're lucky to have so many goods ones in Sydney. Go on, treat yourself to a little seaside time the next day or so.

If surfing's on the cards today there's a little bit of east swell about. It's small but if you can find the right bank at the right tide, it's surfable. We're talking one to maybe two foot, clean little peelers so pack plenty of foam.
