Steady
We're having a great run of waves with a steady train of swell coming at us from the east and south-east. It's 2-4ft and clean this morning; way more user-friendly than the 10 footers that were surging into The Corso early afternoon on Friday! That was a big powerful swell! Way bigger than I'd expected and the biggest swell I've seen in Manly for some time!
As the swell has tailed off, the winds been in our favour with offshore mornings, dead-calm late afternoon glass-off sessions and super light and variable winds in between. You could just about surf any time of the day get some glass. Hope you got some!
What remains of TC Uesi is well south of us now but the system is going to throw a couple more pulses of swell our way from the south-east and then the south. Should be waves and lightish winds most of the week. Yew!
I'm off across the Tasman tomorrow for 10 days exploring the South Island of New Zealand. It's more hiking and exploration than surfing this time. We'll have boards but this time it's mostly about the scenery. If I get a chance to make a post I will, otherwise tune in on Instagram or I'll see you in a week or so...
