Patchwork
Where do Tuesdays rank in the days of the week for you? It's one of those necessary days that doesn't strike a cord with anything in particular. I find Tuesday's a good day to put the head down and get a little focus before the hump of Wednesday and the downhill run into the weekend begins.
Today feels like a typical kind of Tuesday; not heaps happening early but a light transition from that glorious weather yesterday into a light, coolish change from the south. The cloud were casting a patchwork of shadows over the clear water and shallow sands around mid-morning today - looked like a scene from the tropics!
Waves? The swells been slowly building since day break; it's 1-2ft at Queenscliff and bigger up The Beaches... wind's into a bit now but there Tasman's kicked by to life after yesterday's flatline.
If you're interested in photography and specifically getting up early, I'll be sitting on a panel tomorrow night with Nikki Bingham for a The Early Risers as part of the Nikon Showcase Series. Tune in - You can register here, it's FREE
