What a beautiful start to the week we woke up to. The sky lit up with a trail of light and colour followed by an hour of warming sunshine on the skin. Some fun waves too! The clouds are scattered about the sky now, but that's ok, we're all on the tools now right?

The week ahead looks like an up, down and round-about of winds and swell. A little south, a little east; some onshores and moments of offshore winds too. The flags and bouys are going to spin the full 360 - you'll have to pick your moment.

This week I'm hitting the road north. It's been a while and I have to say, I'm looking forward to some uncrowded waves and spending some time on the empty beaches of our beautiful coastline. All the grommets are back at school, now's the time to get out of town!
