The kookaburra's were at it out front of my place at 4:30am this morning. They get a little confused and mistake the light of the full moon with the first light of dawn and wake the neighbourhood prematurely. If you were like me and up in the dark this morning you would have caught a beautiful setting moon in the west and noticed a light offshore breeze coming from the same direction. Good conditions for an early rise!

There's a little bit of SSE swell on the beaches today and the offshore had groomed it clean of any bumps. The wind is sneaking up from the South right now and forecast to go nor'east later. Better get on it.
