What can I say...?

What can I say about this morning? Hmmm, I think it's best summed up by what someone said to me as they came out of the water: "It feels like it could turn on any moment". It's true, it does... but it didn't. All the ingredients are there for good waves; decent ENE swell, light winds, shallow banks. On paper it might have been pumping; instead it's chunky, rippy and mostly straight.

You'll find the odd good one out there if you hang around long enough but it hasn't quite turned on. Even Craig from Swellnet, who's normally froths but score's the waves low, didn't know where to put today's rating and gave it a middle-of-the-road 5 out of 10.

Nah, it's not pumping. But hey, there's waves and the water's real nice so who's complaining...?
