Sleep-In
I had a sleep in this morning; took one look out the window around the time the sun should have been rising and rolled right back to bed. It was dark and cloudy with rain threatening and a light onshore breeze in the trees... not to mention low tide. That's got sleep-in written all over it!
I didn't see it early but from I heard it might have picked up a touch since this morning. Maybe it's TC Uesi's influence starting to be felt; maybe it's just the tide pushing in. From mid-morning tomorrow, our beaches are going to be feeling the presence of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Uesi as she slowly make her way south towards Lord Howe Island. All reports suggest we should see waves in the 8ft+ range by tomorrow evening and into Saturday. You'd better dust off the pintail and set your alarm!
