Working
South Swell
The south swell is still streaming in this morning and surprisingly the banks seems to be handling the size and period. Normally on this kind of swell it'd be straight closeouts from South Steyne to Queensie but today it seems to be working. Maybe the extra water over the sand on the rising tide is keeping the rip bowls running. Who knows... but it looks fun!
Did you hear that Mick Fanning's making his 'CT comeback as the wildcard in the Rip Curl Narrabeen Classic? How good would it be to see The White Lightning back with his trademark full-speed cutbacks. If you've got the day off today, get on a bus and go join the grommets on the sand up at the contest site. The world's best surfers will be up there finding their feet and putting on a clinic. Good day for it!
