The drizzle continues out there this morning. Not exactly the kind of weather and light that inspires an early start; even the dog was hesitant to walk out the door this morning. But, we've had a good run in 2021. Some fine weather on the days that count; sunny weekends, perfect public holidays, winter was reasonably mild I'd say. And the waves... surely one of the best years of waves in recent history right. Heaps of east swell, consistent runs of plus-sized swells from the south; all of the reefs and bommies have had their day this year. Not a bad year to be stuck at home...

Here's a little trip down memory lane of some of 2021's best days.

PS. I just checked the waves again before I hit send and the wind's turned, the swell's organised and even the sun was starting to poke through. Might be worth another look.
