Warmth
How amazing is the water right now?! It's clear and warm and oh-so comfortable. In fact, last week the MHL Buoy off Long Reef recorded a record temperature for Sydney of 26.8˚. That doesn't necessarily translate directly into water temperature on the shoreline however there's a large mass of warm water sitting off the East Coast making it very pleasant in the water and somewhat unpleasant (humidity) out of the water.
For now through, I'm going to enjoy as much time surfing in boardshorts as I can. In my books, nothing beats reducing surfing to its most simple form; boardshorts and a surfboard harnessing whatever energy is bouncing around the ocean.
This morning there's a touch more swell from the ENE. It's a little wobbly with the high tide but peaky and fun none-the-less. Have a good one!
