Meanwhile
Morning and a happy Friday to you. The early morning storms have drifted out to sea, there's a chance they'll be back later in the day.
Right now there's a nice day unfolding outside. The sun's out, the wind's a light offshore straight out of the west and there's inconsistent sets out of the south at 3ft+ mixed in with a jumbled little wind swell. The tide was low at dawn and I suspect the prospects of decent waves with rise with the tide, as long as the wind holds off.
Meanwhile out of the Coral Sea TC Gabrielle has been upgraded to a category 3 cyclone and is heading south-east towards Norfolk Island. The Queensland and Northern NSW points are about to light up and we'll start to see a rise in swell by Sunday afternoon. Should be plenty of energy flowing our way in the coming days.
Take care
