It's a cool one out there this morning, especially after two weeks in the tropics! Suiting up in the dark this morning I almost changed my mind on swimming and flipped the doona cover open. But ,once you're in, the water's not too bad. In fact it's got to be up around 19 or 20 degrees - that's pretty toasty for the depths of winter!

There's a nice little SSE swell running this morning. It's clean and relatively peaky, and the sun's just broken free of the clouds. I'd be surfing if I could.

Apologies for the lack of posts from the Mentawai's. We ducked down south and out of mobile range and my focus switched to full surf mode. It's been a while since I up'ed surfing to top priority and I have to say I enjoyed it! Got some photos and a story to share shortly...
