Ok. It's one amazing day out there right now! We're talking 27 degrees, sunshine, offshore wind and a building ENE swell - check, check, check!
The first of TC Gita's swell started filtering in about dawn this morning. First a couple of two foot sets; then the odd three footer. By the time I left the carpark there were some genuine four foot sets. The swell got a curious little bump underlying the main swell. Maybe its the last of the South swell, mostly likely it's a bit of local short period swell whipped up by yesterday's Northerly.
