I've got a confession; I've been struggling to get up for the early of late. Not sure if it's the longer days and later nights or the constant Northerlies taking the sheen off the usual refined appeal of Manly's mornings. However, one thing I am drawn to right now is the magic twilight that the harbourside is serving up each night. If you haven't been for a summer twilight picnic lately, take a stroll over yonder and soak up the glow of sunset and the half hour of glow of the day's final light. It's the place to be! Today the Northerly was up early but at least this time there's some swell along for the ride. It's one of those short period wind swells but it's holding at 2-3ft and surfable if you don't mind the chop and dodging Bluebottles. Not everyone's cup of tea.
