Unrise
All bets were on another stunner sunrise this morning. I woke up and caught a hint of colour in the clouds, shook off the sleep, suited up bolted down to capture a one of these classic Autumn sunrise from the water. Even as I swam across the gutter I still thought we might have been a chance for three in a row with colour spreading from the horizon.
Unfortunately the bright strip of vivid colour was stubbed out as quick as it came and we were cast back into the dark. Just a sniff of a sunrise today....
The nor-east wind swell continues to build in girth and frequency today. There's no shortage of waves but the quality is debatable. There was a hint of west in the wind this morning but I think by now it's reverted to NNE. We've got a Southerly change due early tomorrow, I know where I'll be surfing.
