Twins

Horizon Line

We might be on our fifth day of rain but it's not all doom and gloom. The rain been doing it's best to dampen the wind chop from the sea surface and, surprisingly, the south swell has been working reasonably well on our little east-facing stretch of sand. Judging by the crowds over the weekend Manly might have been the only place in greater Sydney serving up anything appealing.

The good news is it's Monday, daylight saving is in full affect and you could count the crowd on two hands this morning.  I had a swim with Jarrad Howse and his prized MR 80's twin fin this morning. You know how much I love twin fins but I've never really been able to get my head around the upright fin designs so it was a treat to watch Jarrad finesse his 5'9" with the steez and skills of a pro. MR won 4 world titles on his designs so you know they work!

Looks like we've got an interesting week of waves ahead. A couple if days of east swell and offshore before a big southerly change and jump in South swell mid week.

See you out there!
